Jungle Taitei (ジャングル大帝 Janguru Taitei, meaning Kimba the Lion or Jungle Emperor Leo) is an action adventure game planned to be released for Nintendo 64.
At Space World held in 1996, Shigeru Miyamoto and Makoto Tezuka, son of Osamu Tezuka, held a press conference announcing the development of the game. In an interview with Miyamoto, Nintendo asked Tezuka to supervise the game, but Tezuka was busy with other projects and was unfamiliar with games. The game release was cancelled at the end of N64.[1]
