HeroQuest is a planned video game adaptation of the Hasbro board game of the same name. At some point around 2000-2001, HeroQuest programmer Chris Shrigley provided a supposedly final NTSC build of HeroQuest's source code to Lost Levels owner Frank Cifaldi.[1] However, without the original compiler, the source code was unusable, though Cifaldi compiled some early binary files from the source into an incomplete ROM.
Several years later, Lost Levels discovered a PAL review cartridge, which contained a complete version of HeroQuest. Both HeroQuest ROMs have been released to the public.
