Final Fantasy II is a sequel to the role-playing game Final Fantasy and is the US version of the one released in Japan in 1988. It was planning to release it in the US in 1991, but it was canceled because it was decided to switch the console to 16 bit. A prototype ROM prepared by CES's Square held in Las Vegas in the winter of 1991 in 2012 was put on eBay by Frank Cifaldi and finally offered it for $ 50,000. ROM are uploaded to Lost Levels and are still available for download.
