Tetris is an unlicensed puzzle game released by Tengen for NES in 1989. A licensed version by Nintendo was planned to be released, but it was canceled. In the summer of 2012, a person named Martin Alessi discovered a prototype ROM while cleaning his basement. Alessi putted to Game Gavel, but ended up at $ 1500 with the highest bid and did not sell because it did not meet the minimum auction price. On September 7, 2012, Alessi uploaded a gameplay video[1][2]. It seems he still owns it, but no dumps and no ROM uploads have been made. The difference from Tengen Tetris released without authorization is that there is only one frame sprite on the title screen.
