Rune Master (ルーンマスター) is a role-playing game that was planned for release to Famicom. It was canceled for unknown reasons. The game was developed by Dragon Quest creator Yūji Horii, video game writer and director Hiroshi Miyaoka, producer Shinji Hashimoto and designer Hiroshi Oginome (Famicom Jump Hero Retsuden designer).[1] The hero goes on a journey searching for the legendary six runes to cure the illness of the king of Elder Land. Currently no prototype of this game has been discovered.
